Cypress River Ranch House & Corral This single story home sleeps up to 10 on two queen beds, two twin beds and 2 sleeper sofas and creates the perfect place for you to enjoy the natural beauty of the Sabinal Canyon. The fully equipped kitchen gives you the opportunity to prepare meals as you relax and unwind. A large rock barbecue built into the back patio is great for pit cooking, roasting hotdogs or marshmallows, or just enjoying an outdoor fire. Sabinal River Cabin sits right on the banks of the Sabinal River just south of Utopia, Texas. It is situated on one-half acre, on Highway 187, and is 90 miles west of San Antonio. It is a quiet spot for cooling off in the summer, and makes for easy access to Garner State Park, Lost Maples Natural Area, Concan, and other central Texas attractions.The cabin is rustic, but you don't have to rough it. Cowboy House - Each morning enjoy a cup of coffee watching the deer under the feeder in the yard. Sit on the wrap-around porch and enjoy the overhanging oak and pecan trees. Step off of the porch and dip your toes into the Sabinal River or bring tubes to play in the river. Walk over the bridge to Utopia Park & Dam for rope swings and deep-water swimming. You can have dinner inside in the fully equipped kitchen or grill outside on the charcoal grill. For dessert use the campfire ring to roast some marshmallows and look at the stars like you will seldom see from the city. Kids can set up a game of badminton, volleyball, or horseshoes on the wide stretch of land between the house and the river. If the weather is inclement, stay inside and watch tv (DISH network) or play dominoes, cards or board games. Old Glory River Cabin sits on 4 acres of beautiful river property with spectacular views. From the covered back patio you can see Whitetail and Axis deer and a variety of bird species. Swim and play in more than 400 feet of the crystal clear Sabinal River flowing from 2 – 6 feet deep through the property with huge shade trees. Enjoy a front yard view of the rolling hill country and a backyard view of the Sabinal River loaded with bass and catfish for your fishing pleasure. You will find a BBQ grill, campfire ring, and picnic table at the cabin and a nice relaxing tree swing and picnic table to enjoy on the lower river bank of the property. Waresville River Retreat Located just minutes from Utopia Texas, this house is on of the oldest and historic sites in the Sabinal Canyon. Originally built in 1870 by John Crane Ware the son of Captain William Ware the first anglo settler in the canyon. The Fortress is a Converted limestone barn, used as a Fortress against Indian raids in 1800's; a wonderful vacation home rich with history. Three open loft bedroom areas upstairs each has a queen, 1 full bath upstairs. There are oak trees for shade and the river is lined with huge cypress trees. There is about a 1/4 mile of the Sabinal River running through the property with the water level anywhere from 2 - 10 feet deep. In the morning enjoy sitting on the covered back deck over looking the river while drinking coffee or in the evening just relaxing after a long day at the river playing on the rope swing.There is a washer and dryer on the property for your use. Fish Tales Cabin on Baffin Bay is a new 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin and sleeps up to 8. It has 2 king beds, 1 queen sofa and one full futon. It has a fenced yard with BBQ grill, patio, 300 foot private pier for fishing and a large screen porch where you can enjoy the bay breeze, views, and beautiful sunsets.
